Headquartered in Aspen, Colorado, WonderWorx is the latest of a long line of creative enterprises for design entrepreneur, Robert Tobias. Tobias’ previous venture, Waterfall Hope, demonstrated his finely honed ability for discovering truly unique concepts and bringing them to market. For more than twenty years, Waterfall Hope was an Aspen landmark and destination for upscale art patrons, looking for that one “special piece”. As sole proprietor of Waterfall Hope, Tobias developed many collaborative relationships with the craftspeople, artists, and sculptors that he represented. These were the roots from whence the concept of kinetically-activated musical playground equipment became more than an idea. When two of Tobias’ sculptor/fabricator associates conceived and realized these musical playground equipment pieces, Tobias knew that he needed to develop this idea into something beyond a few prototypes.
Tobias was able to develop a truly unique, affordable, and entertaining twist on playground equipment by coordinating creative, engineering, fabrication, and musical expertise from industry leaders across the country.
Coupled with legal and financial resources, as well as solid manufacturing alliances, WonderWorx has now entered the marketplace.
