Perfect for both musical playgrounds and science on the playground, this beautiful, patented kinetic sculpture blends the concept of the ancient aboriginal rainstick with a time-tested playground standard and attains new heights of cooperative, interactive fun by adding sights and musical sounds to sensory play. As a percussion instrument using tuned chimes to create various notes, it also involves science concepts such as Newton's laws of motion, fulcrums, pivot point and simple machines in addition to levers, balance and probability.
